2024 to 2025 Service Standards for Transfer Payment Programs

A service standard is a public commitment to a measurable level of performance that clients can expect under normal circumstances. Public Safety Canada (PS) has established services standards for all of its transfer payment programs. ^{Footnote 1}

PS is committed to adhering to the following transfer payment service standards:

• Acknowledging the receipt of a funding request within 10 business days with the target set at 80% for achieving this standard
• Communicating a funding decision within 30 weeks of receiving a complete application with the target set at 80% for achieving this standard
• Issuing a payment following receipt of all required documentation within 30 business days with the target set at 80% for achieving this standard
