Gender-Based Analysis Plus

Applicants are strongly encouraged to take the free online course: Introduction to Gender-based Analysis Plus (GBA+).

GBA+ is an analytical process used to assess how diverse groups of women, men and non-binary people may experience policies, programs and initiatives. The "plus" in GBA+ acknowledges that GBA goes beyond biological (sex) and sociocultural (gender) differences. We all have multiple identity factors that intersect to make us who we are. GBA+ also considers many other identity factors, like race, ethnicity, religion, age, and mental or physical disability.

Application Templates

Application form questions

Before you start your application, you can view the questions and content in advance to help you prepare before submitting.

Work plan template

The work plan provides information on the key activities and timelines. Organizations often rely on detailed work plans to manage projects. For this application, only include the steps that will help achieve your objectives. If the project is approved, you will need to report on all activities to the department. Writing reports will be easier if you only include the important activities.

Budget template

Along with your work plan, the budget template forms the basis of your application for funding. Please ensure that it is as detailed and accurate as possible to avoid future complications and delays.
